rocky and arid regions of the country and are adept
climbers. One of the best temperments of all
lizards, they are generally docile and actually enjoy
being handled.

The corn snake or red rat snake, is a North American
species of rat snake that subdue their
small prey with constriction, the name “corn snake” comes
from the fact that they have a maize-like
pattern on their bellies and because they were found in corn
fields.

found from the
Mississippi River to Gulf of Mexico, however they are now found
world wide due to people releasing them into the wild.
